When it comes to making consumer electronics purchasing decisions,
whether it’s at the holidays or any other time, turns out nothing is as
valuable to shoppers as a good recommendation from a friend. And, when
in doubt, a good recommendation from the pros (a.k.a. Consumers Reports,
et al) doesn’t hurt either, with 37 percent of consumers indicating
that reading an article on a product eventually led them to buy that
