Reasons for mergers:

*The good of mankind? (I think not)

*The guys that handle the money make lots more

*Competition eliminated

*The company does the equivalent of baseball players "juicing"

*Dopey overrated execs rush to say "me too" (SBC-ATT)

And we see how Carly was rewarded for HP-Compaq. Of course her failure had NOTHING to do with the bubble. Capitalism does what it can to capitalize at the moment. But mankind has still not found a better system.

Response to SkyFILES: A New Spin on Offending Content

I would like to comment about your article this morning. I am not familiar with the exact music or Korn or Tool and doubt I would have been offended. But would I disagree with them playing music that would promote Cop killing, women raping and alike. Yes, I would be offended by that. It is nice for them to ask, but I would not be offended if they did not.

So many people in America want to remove God from everything, but when there is tragedy, they wonder where God is. I will always be grateful for what God has done and is doing in my life.
